Ingredients:
2½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp fine sea salt
1½ cups dark brown sugar
1 cup unsalted butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
In a bowl, whisk flour, pumpkin spice, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Spread batter into pan and bake 35–40 minutes until set.
