🥥🍍Pina Colada Dump Cake
Ingredients
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1 box yellow cake mix
¾ cup (1½ sticks) butter, melted
Optional: ½ cup white chocolate chips
Optional Rum Glaze (adult version)
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
2–3 tablespoons coconut rum
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread crushed pineapple with its juice evenly in the dish.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut evenly over pineapple.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the coconut.
- Add nuts and white chocolate chips if using.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over everything—do not stir.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
- Bake 40–45 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Optional Glaze:
Mix sweetened condensed milk with coconut rum and drizzle over warm cake.
Serving Ideas
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
