Festive Cocoa-Dusted Tiramisu Truffles with Mascarpone and Espresso

Ingredients:

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1/2 cup crushed ladyfinger cookies

2 tablespoons espresso or strong brewed coffee, cooled

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup cocoa powder, for dusting

Dark chocolate shavings, for garnish

Whole coffee beans, for garnish

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and espresso until smooth and creamy.

Gently fold in the crushed ladyfinger cookies until a soft, moldable mixture forms.

Cover and refrigerate the mixture for 20–30 minutes to firm slightly.

Using a small scoop or spoon, roll the mixture into bite-sized truffles with slightly irregular shapes.

Roll each truffle generously in cocoa powder to coat.

Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.

Garnish with dark chocolate shavings and coffee beans if desired.
