📝 Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely diced
1 green or red bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cooked white rice (long-grain preferred)
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
½ teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Optional: chopped parsley or hot sauce
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in the diced onion and bell pepper. Cook for 4–5 minutes until softened.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Season with paprika, cayenne, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Pour in the beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes to build flavor.
- Add the cooked rice and mix until everything is well combined and evenly seasoned.
- Cook for another 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Garnish with green onions or parsley and serve hot.
