2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp orange zest (about 1 orange)
2 tbsp orange juice
1 cup dried cranberries (chopped if large)
½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)

🔢 INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, vanilla, orange zest, and juice until smooth.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
Fold in cranberries and white chocolate chips (if using).
Roll out dough to about ½ inch thick on floured surface.
Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies.
Place on baking sheet, sprinkle with sugar, and bake 10–12 minutes until just golden.
Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack to finish cooling.
