Classic Creamy Coleslaw

🛒 Ingredients
Slaw
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 kg white cabbage, finely shredded
1 carrot, grated
Creamy Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard or lemon juice
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Vegetables
Place cabbage, carrot, and red onion in a large bowl.
Toss well to combine.
2️⃣ Make the Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and Dijon (if using) until smooth.
3️⃣ Combine
Pour dressing over vegetables.
Toss until everything is evenly coated.
4️⃣ Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors blend.
5️⃣ Serve
Stir once more before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
