Cilantro Jalapeño Dip 🌿🌶️

Perfect for serving with chips, fresh veggies, or as a flavorful spread for sandwiches and burgers.

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh cilantro, washed and chopped

2–3 fresh jalapeños, seeds removed and chopped (adjust for desired heat)

1/2 cup Greek yogurt or light mayonnaise

2–3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)

A pinch of black pepper

(Optional) 1 tsp honey or maple syrup for a touch of sweetness


Instructions:

  1. Place the cilantro, jalapeños, and garlic in a food processor or blender.
  2. Add the yogurt or mayonnaise and lemon juice, then blend until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the olive oil while blending to create a creamy, well-emulsified dip.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper, and add honey if desired for a hint of sweetness.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips, fresh veggies, or as a spread on sandwiches.

✅ Tip: For a thinner version, add 1–2 tablespoons of water or more lemon juice to reach your desired consistency.
