Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional toppings: chopped nuts, sea salt, crushed candy canes, sprinkles
Instructions
Prepare the pan:
Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Melt the mixture:
In a saucepan over low heat, add the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
Stir continuously until everything melts and becomes smooth.
Add flavor:
Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Pour and spread:
Spread the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Add toppings (optional):
Sprinkle nuts, sea salt, or any preferred topping over the fudge while it’s still warm.
Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Cut and serve:
Lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
