🍏 Apple Crisp Cheesecake Jars

Ingredients

✨ Cheesecake Layer:

8 oz (1 block) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream (or 1 cup whipped topping)

🍎 Apple Filling:

3 medium apples (Honeycrisp, Gala, or Granny Smith), peeled & diced

2 tbsp butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional for thickening)

Crisp Crumble Topping:

1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

1/4 cup flour

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup melted butter

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Make the Apple Filling:

  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Cook for 5–8 minutes until apples are tender.
  4. If you want it thicker, stir in cornstarch slurry and cook 1 more minute.
  5. Let cool completely. Make the Crumble:
  6. In a bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  7. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  8. Spread on a lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp.
  10. Let cool. Make the Cheesecake Layer:
  11. Beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  12. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.
  13. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture until fluffy. Assemble the Jars:

Layer in this order:

  1. Crumble (light layer on bottom)
  2. Cheesecake filling
  3. More crumble but light
  4. Apple filling
  5. More cheesecake filling but light
  6. Add more crumble, drizzle with caramel if using.

Optional: drizzle caramel sauce on top for extra richness!

Chill:

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
