Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake
Ingredients
1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (optional but delicious)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 box vanilla or white cake mix
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Optional topping: whipped cream, extra strawberries
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the Fruit
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the pan.
Sprinkle the fresh sliced strawberries on top (optional but adds freshness and texture).
- Make the Cheesecake Layer
In a bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Drop spoonfuls of the cheesecake mixture over the strawberry layer and gently swirl with a knife (don’t fully mix—just marble it).
- Add the Cake Mix
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top. Do not stir!
- Add Butter
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the entire surface.
(If there are dry patches, don’t worry—baking will fix it.)
- Bake
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbly.
- Serve
Let it cool for at least 15 minutes.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Add whipped cream and extra strawberries for perfection!
Tips
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs on top before baking.
You can also use lemon cake mix for a bright fruity twist.
