Winter Pomegranate Mojito (Serves 2)

Bright, refreshing, and perfectly festive — this mojito blends pomegranate, lime, and mint for a gorgeous winter drink.

Ingredients

1 cup pomegranate juice

¼ cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

½ cup soda water or sparkling water

8–10 fresh mint leaves

2–4 teaspoons sugar or simple syrup (to taste)

½ cup pomegranate arils (optional, for garnish)

Ice cubes

Fresh mint sprigs (for garnish)

Optional: 2–4 oz white rum (if making it alcoholic)

Instructions

  1. Muddle the mint:
In a large glass or pitcher, add the mint leaves and sugar (or simple syrup).
Gently muddle with a spoon or muddler to release the mint flavor — don’t crush the leaves too much.
  2. Add the juices:
Pour in the pomegranate juice and lime juice. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add ice:
Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes.
  4. Pour and top:
Pour the pomegranate mixture over the ice.
Top each glass with soda water or sparkling water for bubbles.
  5. Optional — Add rum:
Add 1–2 oz white rum per glass if you want a classic mojito twist.
  6. Garnish:
Add pomegranate arils and fresh mint sprigs. Add lime slices if you like!
  7. Serve immediately:
    Stir gently and enjoy chilled.
