Christmas Jam 🎄🍊🍓

Sweet, tangy, festive—and totally addictive! No wonder your coworkers keep asking for more! This jam is bright with cranberries and orange, perfect for toast, biscuits, or gifting in cute jars.


Ingredients:

12 oz (340g) fresh or frozen cranberries

1 large orange — zest and juice

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

Optional add-ins:

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions:

  1. Combine the Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, add:

Cranberries

Orange zest

Orange juice

Water

Sugar

Bring everything to a gentle boil over medium heat.

  1. Cook the Jam

Stir occasionally as the cranberries begin to pop.

Reduce the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, until the mixture thickens.

If you want it smoother, mash lightly with a fork or a potato masher.

Add cinnamon, cloves, or vanilla if you like a warm holiday flavor.

  1. Cool and Jar

Remove the jam from heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

Transfer to clean jars and let cool completely before sealing.

  1. Chill

Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours to set.
It thickens beautifully as it chills!
