Bang Bang Chicken Skewers
Ingredients
For the Chicken Skewers:
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1–1.5 inch chunks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sweet chili sauce
1–2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon honey or sugar
1 teaspoon rice vinegar or lemon juice
For Garnish (optional):
Chopped green onions
Sesame seeds
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Make the Bang Bang Sauce
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and vinegar until smooth.
Set aside half of the sauce for serving.
Assemble the Skewers
Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20–30 minutes first.
Cook the Skewers
Grill: Grill over medium-high heat for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally.
Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
Air Fryer: Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 12–14 minutes.
Glaze with Sauce
During the last 2–3 minutes of cooking, brush the skewers with some of the Bang Bang sauce.
Serve
Drizzle with the remaining sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
