📝 Ingredients
Cookie Dough
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, lightly softened
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1½ tsp vanilla extract
Caramel Filling
- 26 soft caramels, unwrapped
- 3½ tbsp heavy cream
Topping
- ¾ cup milk chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- Flaked sea salt (optional)
👩🍳 Directions
1️⃣ Cream butter and sugar, then mix in egg yolks and vanilla. Add flour and salt until combined.
2️⃣ Roll dough into balls, press thumbprints, and chill 45–60 minutes.
3️⃣ Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 14–15 minutes. Re-press centers and cool.
4️⃣ Melt caramels with cream and fill cookie centers.
5️⃣ Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt. Let set.
